"On 19th April 2006 our lives changed forever when our beloved son, Adam, died in a car accident. One thing that became clear immediately was how many wonderful friends Adam had and it was their support that helped us and our daughter, Tara, find a way through this dreadful time. Eventually, it became possible to imagine something good coming out of such a tragedy and so began The Adam Cole Foundation."
Brian and Jackie Cole
Adam was a dear son, brother, uncle and friend who brought laughter and happiness to all he met. He loved life and lived his 30 years to the full. Sport was important to him: whether playing himself at school, university or in London, or enjoying it as a supporter, travelling to Australia to watch the Lions or closer to home for the cricket.
The Adam Cole Foundation is a UK registered charity that aims to make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged children both at home and abroad. We do this by partnering with other charities and assisting with specific educational and welfare projects or by providing funding directly to support the advancement of education and welfare for disadvantaged children. Be it on the sporting field or in the classroom, we passionately believe in helping those children who might not otherwise have the opportunities in life that a simple education can provide.
