"On 19th April 2006 our lives changed forever when our beloved son, Adam, died in a car accident. One thing that became clear immediately was how many wonderful friends Adam had and it was their support that helped us and our daughter, Tara, find a way through this dreadful time. Eventually, it became possible to imagine something good coming out of such a tragedy and so began The Adam Cole Foundation."

Brian and Jackie Cole

Adam was a dear son, brother, uncle and friend who brought laughter and happiness to all he met. He loved life and lived his 30 years to the full. Sport was important to him: whether playing himself at school, university or in London, or enjoying it as a supporter, travelling to Australia to watch the Lions or closer to home for the cricket.

The aim of The Adam Cole Foundation is to help make a positive difference to the lives of disadvantaged children through sport. We want others to benefit directly from Adam's life, to share in one of his passions. The Adam Cole Foundation is for all those children who have not had the opportunity to experience what sport can offer: the way it can help build confidence, provide a sense of achievement but, most importantly, the fun and enjoyment to be had from just playing it.
